This is the expansion of the original IDEA, IDEA 20090105 ArtWiki and IDEA 20090629 SF Art Map


The original idea became way too big, so I'm reeling it back-in

There should be three sections to this on the main page:

  • History (as in art history) that links to selected, or highlighted wikipedia articles.
  • Today (or this week), with locations mapped to dates of locations of art events, keyed for one's locale
  • Upcoming (1 month out), linked to one's locale. Focus on SF first, and then other cities.

The key goal is to use APIs and projects that already exist to build off of their power.
