nathaniel's MESH.FM essay >> It was bound to happen sometime. It looks like Natty is writing about MESH and the entire lifetime of the project. It will be included in Jon Phillips' final MFA project, the CVS BOOK. 2004.04.25 22:20 PST

new media online >> I uploaded and linked to most of the images I have of past MESH.FM events. They are all collected in the archive section of the site. Nathaniel has some video streams that we will hopefully get online soon. 2003.02.08 12:04 PST

image of old event >> I found an old image online from a MESH event at Travis Ball's house from about a year ago. It is nice to see everyone in the frame. Notice my (Jon's) nicely shaven head. 2003.11.26 22:04 PST

much work is still needed on the archive >> There are sooo many images and video streams of past MESH.FM events. It is very time consuming to sort through them all. I'm going to just put generic pages up for each project, along with a feedback page to allow the input of comments for each past event and updates by anyone who participated. I think that that would be the most proper way to handle that section of the site. 2003.10.05 22:04 PST

MESH.FM

MESH.FM is Experimental Streaming.

MESH.FM is a webcast station devoted to broadcasting experimental audio. This website provides an interface for that service while also housing a large archive of past MESH.FM projects and events. While the initial MESH.FM project was actually conceived as this very current implementation, it spiraled into a live, social experimentation of sonic activities that derailed the orginial archive and website. It is only now and here, with hidsight of such spontaneous past events, that the project is being published loud and clear.
