I wanted to send out a big thanks to everyone who put on Libre Graphics Meeting 2011. I’ve been posting and reposting about it on all channels.

Now its time to reflect, please post up your stories, summaries, pictures and videos. I know I have tons of them!

Today, the Milkymist One video synthesizer was shown publicly at the 6th Annual Libre Graphics Meeting in Montreal.

From the Fabricatorz site, the officially Press Releases said this:

“The Milkymist One is the future of live performance and is the real freedom box, available now. Without a truly open hardware architecture, developers working on free and open software are going to be locked out from the future of development,” said Jon Phillips, Fabricatorz Founder and Qi Hardware Co-founder. “I am extremely proud to use the Milkymist One live at the event, and explain why its so important for the future of Libre Graphics.”

Fabricatorz released Open Clip Art Library 3.0 and Open Font Library publicly today. Tomorrow, I’m going to flip the script and end LGM2011 taking the audience on a journey from the current state of Libre Graphics, through the web and apps, and end up at the current need to get involved in hardware.
