Laoban Soundsystem 2.0 Powers Beijing’s In Bass We Trust
The Laoban Soundsystem project, co-founded by Jon Phillips and Matt Hope, was recently upgraded to 2.0 status. These fully open source and documented speakers are capable of quick assembly for events running the cultural gamut. After vast amounts of blood, sweat, and tears, the first Laoban-Powered event is finally upon us!
Bring your most beat-ready shoes and burn up the dance floor at Beijing’s massive outdoor In Bass We Trust event, this Saturday, September 4th, 10:00pm, at 2 Kolegas. Headlining performers include: DJ Nick Bell, visual artist Yang Tao, and JCIC.
Live blogging is a must (tagging #laoban2010). This Soundsystem is the biggest and baddest we’ve ever produced, so be sure not to miss it!
a shame you announce it so late… we could have helped to make a bit of promotion around.

Its been a big process. There already was a lot of announcements about it in beijing, just not on my site. Yes, very hectic time for me. We will be doing the full project launch on Sept 19, as part of the http://getitlouder.com festival. Get ready for that!!!
