NC is inherently Non-Free (as is ND for that matter), so NC sure is NOT the way to get more people to use Free licenses.</description>

I&#039;ll re-read my post and probably send out another one in response, but it should be clear that I&#039;m looking to make sure it is good for the &quot;CC licenses movement&quot; even where there might be unintended consequences for the licensor.  I definitely don&#039;t lay the unintended consequences on Creative Commons doorstep; that&#039;s more an effect of the complexity of reality when there is a restriction on how something can be used.  It&#039;s why free software and free culture work as they do, anyone involved doesn&#039;t have to stop or restrict creativity because of real or potential violations.  I pity the DJs and produces  over the years getting sample after sample approved.

Anyway, I think a blog post response is in order, and that&#039;s what I&#039;ll do after the day&#039;s chores. :)
