“LGM 2007 has been announced. Artists and Developers of all the top OSS graphics programs (Blender, GIMP, Inkscape, Krita, Scribus, and more.) are invited to attend and work together to plan the future of free graphics. Plans will be made, hacking and drawing will be done, fun will be had.” (thanks Ryan)
The details to note are: Montréal Canada, 4th – 6th May – École Polytechnique de Montréal. Also, there will be a follow-up Call For Participation.
This conference is major and we had much fun last year at it in Lyon, France. I think it is of much value to our more localized communities, as conference such as LinuxWorld and OSCON scale out and are way too general to be useful to the developer + user split we are trying to accomplish in the Open Source graphics and creative application communities.
NOTE: I’m posting this from digg, so it’s a bit of a test. Digg it!
