Ted Haggard is Cured. He is now “Completely Heterosexual.”
Well, I gues the day’s news has been won by Steve Jobs and Anti-DRM. Thank the Lord. Also, in another thank god moment. Ted Haggard has been cured from gay-ness. He is now “Completely Heterosexual.” Yes, that’s right he was cured. Praise the Lord!

Haggard, 50, resigned as president of the National Association of Evangelicals and was fired from the church he built from nothing into a 14,000-member congregation after a former male prostitute in Denver alleged a three-year cash-for-sex relationship.
Now the Rev. Ted Haggard has emerged from three weeks of intensive counseling convinced he is “completely heterosexual” and told an oversight board that his sexual contact with men was limited to his accuser, the gay hooker.
It is notable how Ted Haggard and his crew have dealt with this issue in Bush-Rove-like fashion. Gavin Newsome, San Francisco’s pro-affair alcohol using mayor, should learn some tactics from Haggard’s team on ground control: Faith first, truth second.

sickening to live in a society that after all that hiding, he just can’t stand up and say “I’m gay” for fear of rejection by his peers. What kind of Christians are they, anyway?

Yes, born again non-denominational is the christian-sect. Its baptist and other groups splinter off because of lack of being in touch with modern times.
Born again non-denominational basically means independent church with aims of modern corporations with as many people going to each church as possible. Sick!

why are christians so obsessed with sex, gender and genitals.. it seems that blaming gays and lesbians is like almost a passtime and obsession for many christians. Don’t they ever worry about the real problems of the world, like hunger, poverty, war, disease , famine?
The bible is replete with admonishment about the sins of heterosexuals..in fact in old testamental times fornication and adultery was punishable by death…maybe we should reinstitute the death penalty for straight adulterers and fornicators — hmmm stoning seems like an exciting sport - just ask the muslims where stoning of adulterers is still a rather exciting public entertainment ( i think i’m gonna throw up ).
christians used to demonize jews for centuries as jesus-killers and this embolden many ordinary germans to persecute jews leading to the holocaust. Similarly centuries of demonizing and denigration of gays and lesbians and sexual minorities have embolden otherwise morally bankrupt heterosexuals to discriminate and do violence to sexual minorities. This has got to stop. Christians are deluding themselves, if they really want to obey Christ then love God with all yr heart and immediately love your neighbour as yourself ..be they gay or straight. If you cannot practise this most important of all the commandments then you have no business declaring yourself a christian irregardless of how big your church or your choir or your coffer may be !
Oh..by the way Jesus said to the rich man..give up all your worldly goods and follow me! Did i hear any ‘christians’ dare to say AMEN LOL LOL LOL

hahahhaa! I completely know what you mean by this double-standard (maybe triple-standard). I grew up in this system and always wondered how african-american’s were excluded in the USA and now are accepted, and then how this is now happening to non-heterosexual people.

Regarding african americans , it should be remembered that not too long ago the lily white church fathers used to teach that the black man by his very nature was immoral and incapable of controlling his lust…..of course white folks were in the meantime having sex like bunnies and making babies just like everyone else all over the world - except that they were real prudish and repressed about it during sunday church services LOL )
…..why in those good old days of segregation in the US of A all the mainstream denominations even had church missions for colored folks hmmm little did they realize that the saviour that they worship in them there hills was none other than a ‘colored’ dark skin jew or semite - yeshuah of Nazaret LOL LOL LOL.
…and then when anesthesia was first introduced into medicine not too long ago in the early days of america , many a preacher men were out there riling against the immoral direction that medicine was taking …cos good old Eve had sinned in the garden of Eden and she should bear children in pain as punishment and to use anesthesia or any medicine to ease pain was to circumvent the intent of the almighty. ………….and to quote our famous/infamous Mr. Rev(?) Jerry Falwell who was an avowed racist ( and probably still is - old habits die hard) : ” if God had intended the different races to mix, he would not have created all the different tribes of Israel….duuuuh and double duuuuh.
…and then you have the Mormons whose holy books tell them that black is the mark of Cain. Amazingly there are quite a few black mormons - pity they have to sit in the back row and are not allowed to hold positions of power in the church….oh of course not too long ago the Chief Honcho of the Mormon Church suddenly received an updated and politically correct ‘revelation’ from God that the prior ban on black folks have been rescinded and it’s o.k. and open house now to recruit black mormons ta daah and duuuuh again.
So now we have the Catholic church doing a double take , preaching that it’s o.k. to be born gay and that they should be treated with kindness and no longer burnt at the stake , however they may still not hold hands and not ‘act out’ since it is ‘not a constant thing’ ( ahem to quote Ted Haggards overseer …tee heeeeeeee ).

Evangelicals and christians in general tend to be so obsessed with sex, gender and genitals to the point that you would think that morality = sex and nothing more. Why I suppose in an evangelical’s mind a heterosexual drug dealer is ‘morally’ superior to a gay philanthropist. Christians in general are guilty of being self righteous and are constantly pretending to ‘love the sinner but hate the sin ‘ as if they can really do that -hah.!!!
May I remind them that the oft repeated mantra of the modern pharasees ‘ love the sinner but not the sin’ is not a quote from Jesus , but a glib semantic invention of some self righteous baptist minister.
Careful scholars of biblical texts who are familiar with the intricacies of ancient oriental languages are wont to not read their bias into isolated quotations.
Jesus had no problems with gays ( natural eunuchs born of the mother’s womb). If you are anti-gay or condemnatory of gay people than you are out of sync with Jesus.
This is what Jesus said:
KJV Matthew 19:12
12. For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
No less an authority than Jesus said it is o.k. to be gay, and for you to accept it. Who do you wish to follow - Jesus (of Nazareth) or Jerry (Falwell).

A natural Eunuch born of his mothers womb isn’t a Homosexual. A Eunuch is someone who can’t have sex, period. They are impotent.
And, this posting is judgemental and rather arrogant in tone, for one asking for toleration.

These are the most common type of natural eunuchs: A hermaphrodite, one of whom is sexually ambiguous, one of whom has a complete lack of natural heat (labido) for the opposite sex, or a sterile heterosexual. A phisically castrated person is NOT a natural born eunuch. This is the second type discribed throughout ancient history. Obviously “Zar” has never studied this type of history whatsoever. It is always easiest and most convienient to give broad generalizations of a subject matter never studied by the BS’er and that the public has little knowledge of. As old Abe Lincoln once said, “you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can’t fool all the people all of the time” My IQ is 80.
