Three Things: Use Epiphany, Second Life Competition, and Health

Updated September 18, 2006 @ 10:16 pm

I’ve now switched to using the light and fast default Gnome web browser, Epiphany (mozilla-based). I’ve been annoyed lately at how slow and crashy firefox has been. I’m still pro-firefox, but more interested in speed browsing and a very-native GTK-based browser.

Also, check out the Viacom-powered answer to Second Life. I think that MTV and this more commercial route is going to capture the pop market and is all the more reason that Second Life should open up their client, services, and let people do as much as possible (and this will in turn help them solve security issues as well if done properly).

The third thing I wanted to say is that I started today on the wrong foot by a.) oversleeping, b.) not eating right, and c.) waking up with a slight sore throat. Anyway, not that anyone cares, I’m just taking great care of living in a good pattern right now by staying home, keeping up the health regiment in order to crank up the productivity. Strange, but myself and my gf have had this nagging cough and sore throat thing for several weeks now…hmmm…we eat and live so very well too !@#$%^&*
