Matt Lauer vs. George Bush (not meth vs. chef)
I’m growing stronger in my criticism of this administration. Especially when I see this type of ignorant banter from Bush about how “people want to come kill [my] family.” Please remove this man from office now! We are being led in the dark by someone who is a bad leader, ignorant, dishonest, and covert.
I pulled this from digg.com, who spoke at the last Creative Commons Salon.

Mat cornering George Bush?
watching this I would say Mat was the one cornered, he had nothing and was grabing at straws; while Bush was holding a ture line that can be defended. Mat’s words were indefensible - unless you believe in complaining.

Yes, I do believe in complaining and I also believe in true debate and not finger pointing.
I never said Mat cornered Bush as well, as you can see from my post. One can easily continue to say the exact same thing, like Bush did in true stubborn talking point fashion, or actually engage in a real conversation about the issue at hand.
Is it not weak for a person in power to push this type abstract rhetoric on people? I find it condescending and personally humiliating to have this unread person positioning the same logic continuously in popular media.

quess what - senate democrats, who agree with your opinion, don’t do any thing about it - ie pull funding from the programs they don’t believe in.
That is what I mean by complaining - people should only complain if they are willing to do something about it (ie pull the funding from the programs they don’t agree with)
like in inkscape - don’t complain unless you submit a bug or better yet a patch.
btw I appreaciate all that you do for inkscape, its awesome and usefull for everyday useage.

Yep, I totally agree with you.
Cool, I guess why I’m interested in politics now is to apply this logic to larger issues. I’m ramping up the disgust and problems in my mind in order to apply problem solving to them and start some projects.
