Okay, so I get tons of announcements from Moveon.org and I don’t even know when I signed up for it, or if I did. However, one announcement seems like an interesting event next week: National Media Impact Day where one can learn how to get media coverage for events. Maybe though this is a cult group meeting or something…ramp up protest!

Man, I love it when the spammers give me a trackback.
At least they CC license their blog…
Hi Jon,
Hey sorry about the trackback issues if you seem to be having a lot of them from my website. I’m doing some experimenting with CC licenses. I am attempting to build a site from pure CC licensed feeds. A sort of news from the bloggers site. I am only using the tools within any legal scope. Trackbacks are meant to be used to inform the writer that someone has either linked/used/referenced the original material.
I’m still trying to figure out if I can put a delay on my script, so it doesn’t appear as spam, and that you won’t get it as fast, or even turn off trackbacks altogether (it is not the trackbacks I am after). The feeds are intended as to be only a small part of the website, and I try to choose the ones that don’t get as much use, for example, a site that posts 400-500 posts a day is no good, all I am doing is replicating another site. I won’t touch a non-commercial use site either, since it violates the CC license I am using. I’m sorry if I caused you problems, but just remember, I chose your site for a number of reasons, and it’s easy to just grab a few feeds and aggregate them.
Thanks for your time,
Bryce
OH, this is cool…keep on tracking back…it is cool with me!
