Young Buck and the Law of Street Cred

Updated December 17, 2005 @ 2:14 pm

This picture of young buck and his lawyers is quite amazing. Its amazing how big musicians use law trials as publicity vehicles. I wonder if PR/A & R put law trials on their development roadmap. Seems like a great strategy for scaling up and increasing a rappers credibility.

From the news story: “I’m glad to get the situation over with so I can get right back out here and make good music,” said Young Buck, who hugged his attorneys as he left the courtroom. “Look out for my new album, it’s gonna be in stores summertime of ’06, Bad Influence, and you can hear all about the situation. G-Unit!”

  1. Hey jon, you heard of the 5% nation aka Nation of Gods and Earths.
Origin of ‘word up’, ‘G’, ‘droppin science’ and a lot of other rap slang.
