Great to see that my press strategy is working for the Creative Commons sponsored project I’m now developing/pushing, ccHost, which powers CC Mixter.
A big thanks to Nathan Willis for the article on ccHost.
My goal is to push Open Source development around Creative Commons standards. Check out developer.creativecommons.org to see the general entry point I’m focusing on to open up develop and build a CC developer community along with the other hackers at Creative Commons. I’ll take this opportunity to shout out to Mike Linksvayer, Nathan Yergler and the new designer/programmer Alex Ryan (from gedit fame).

Yes, that’s right! Inkscape 0.43 is released unto the world today! I just finished sending out the first barrage of press releases. I hung out with my cousin Friday evening and he talked about his interest in Hi Def Gaming. This has intrigued me actually, because it reminds me of the 9 megapixel quake that SDSC had setup back in the UCSD days.
Anyhow, does anyone have any great links on hi def gaming?

Whoa, Cingular will be re-branded into AT&T. Very interesting maneuvering to get around anti-trust legislation in a long term plan.

Have you all seen this? BART, rapid transit in the Bay Area, now has full cell phone coverage thanks to nextel. Funny enough, when I was riding back from SFO airport, I naturally ended my conversation(s) when we were getting ready to go underground and I noticed other people did the same. Anyhow, I guess there isn’t a need to do that anymore.
UPDATE: I didn’t read the graphic to see that this is just cell service in certain stations.

It seems like Sunday is the only day I have to post various snippets anymore. I flew to Chicago on Friday for SFAI and right back the next day. Got to hang with my cuz, Brad, and then did my gig on SAT and flew right back. This last paragraph really sums up a lot right now.
