I try to listen to Indie Rock and I always come back to hip hop. I think hip hop is in my DNA, but Indie Rock is on the surface.

I have tried that many times, ambiance, alternative and even mexican ‘nortenias’ but I always come back to hip hop. Really the whole music culture is very poor they either talk about love or dance. At least hiphop have some much more view on what it wants, or more graphic at least.
Agree completely…hiphop is so interesting from so many different perspectives. In the end it is really about personal taste IMO. I’m glad another OSS hacker out there is into hiphop and has the nick JZA
