Everything is due for me at the same time: writings, articles, class notes, etc.
Finally, I caught up on some sleep last night and now for the daily deluge of what has happened this last week:
- Google Blog Search is great and more importantly, includes RSS support.
- Bryce keeps posting about his great idea Granny Linux. I wish Bryce and my other Open Source colleagues had access to funds to work on all of these great ideas. Bryce, keep on pushing the Granny Linux page. I think you should setup a wiki on your site and keep detailing these new ideas and then hopefully, that content can be moved to a proper project when there is time. (I have setup a wiki on my site to mix and bake ideas, and it is working well)
- New York Times is headed for a fall. Honestly, they are heading into a subscription model and ppl. on the web will not pay it. “As link targets in the blogosphere, those columnists, carrying the Times brand, will fall right off the radar.”
What! Suprnova.org is trying to rekindle their community’s flame. I think that Sloncek, the head of that community, has really messed up. The community has moved on! Isohunt and Torrentspy are much better anyhow than suprnova.
