DWZ Online
While writing a few different writings, I’ve also been hacking on gettng DWZ back online. I have been writing and moving content around there for about 3-4 hours right now.
I have now fleshed out a few writings I really want to get done:
- HOWTO Build an Online Development Community – this writing covers the various techniques which I have learned from Bryce and others on how to build an online community.
- A Reductive View of Art – this is my own take on art as of late. This is far from done, but I wanted to get this idea out of my head.
- The Modern Open Source Developer – this will be a survey of what modern open source developers are like and where more help is needed in the field.
- Innovating Globally with Open Source – covers how to innovate with open source
- What is Media? – I moved this content off the wiki actually and pretty much finished up this writing to generally go over what the different terms in media mean.
All of these writings are in a wiki so please add to these topics at will. My hope is to get them together and possibly submit them to various places. I still have to finish up my book about open source collaboration, CVS Book, but these writings are lighter and are helping me get back into the writing flow so that finishing up CVS Book will be easier.
Also, maybe some of these HOWTO like documents would be valuable as some sort of collection to be published. If anyone is interested in publishing them, please contact me.
If anyone adds to these documents significantly, I will give co-author credit.
