Scale is On-line

So, I’m reminded of the importance of having affiliations and a good media outlet when I get into Siggraph for free (normally costs around $800) in exchange for promoting and writing about the conference.

I have struggled in my thoughts for what Scale should be doing. Also, now that I’m not at UCSD and really want to have a division between me and that place, how does Scale operate?

At the same time, having Scale affiliated with CRCA is positive for anyone who submits, as they get direct academic affiliation and also are placed into a publication which has a Library of Congress ISSN and is plugged directly into the University of California Library system which insures that one’s content will be around forever…ok, I can get into that now :)
