Man, I upgraded to using D-bus when I did:

Now, I can’t get my feedreader to work…On a side note, I’m getting much more work done now Maybe I will leave it d-busted.

I did get d-bus to work, but there are still bugs in the installation on gentoo. Time to get out the iron.
