Hey, while I drove 8+ hours today I thought about how basically all vocalists sing over themselves these days heavily. Also, I started to deconstruct how all the bars of hip hop loops are put together and how singers basically sing a few good takes and then the producer just loops the parts, cuts and pastes, and so on. When you listen to music now, these processes are completely transparent, yet are so ambiently modern. Honestly, try thinking about how a popular song is constructed while listening the next time…its quite amazing…think aural user interface!
