I made an emergency trip to rural Illinois to help make decisions about my grandpa who had a stroke over the weekend. Man, so many life struggles to deal with in my family! I feel good though that I have helped sort this out and he is doing much better.
I’m off to SEOUL here later this week then after this emergency midwest trip to do some more work. Please, any open source folk contact me if I’m in your neighborhood. I’ve met many great Open Source folk in South Korea in the past like Mike McCormack from Wine and Codeweavers. Also, I’ve met Shawn Soon-son Kwon, who works for Samsung and heads up the Korean Linux Documentation Project and gave a presentation to KLDP last summer. That group is the core of the linux community in South Korea.
